The world-wide-web search giant announced Wednesday it was advertisements that are banning pay day loans so that you can protect its users “from misleading or harmful monetary services and products,” delivering another blow to a market under increasing fire from regulators and customer advocates.

“When reviewing our policies, research has shown why these loans can lead to unaffordable repayment and high standard prices for users therefore we will likely be upgrading our policies globally to mirror that,” David Graff, the business’s director of global item policy, said in an article.
